It was in the fall of 2006, when I walked out of a women's conference and I prayed this prayer, " Lord, I want to help women, so do in me what you need to, so I can help."

And with that, He began the long process, of preparing me for ministry. First, I had to work through past abuses and sins. Then came insecurities and excuses that had ingrained into my behaviors, they had to be released.

Although I was raised in a God-fearing home, there was much that I needed to learn about having a personal relationship with Jesus. And so, He continued His work, and continues His work within me, every day.

Fifty weeks after praying that initial prayer, I entered full time ministry as an Executive Director of a Crisis Pregnancy Centre. In this position I see so many hurting women and teens and feel like God has a special purpose for them, if they could only see truth, and have value within themselves.

Music was my first love and my first platform for presenting a picture of Jesus to people. It is a spiritual language all of it's own, in which I am thankful to be able to use to share my heart with and for Jesus.

In November 2013, I moved to Siem Reap, Cambodia as a full time missionary. I was the Project Director of a rehabilitation home for girls rescued from the sex trade. I worked with Not4Sale and  Destiny Rescue.

Unfortunately in late 2014, I returned to Saskatoon in need of medical attention and in early 2015 I had surgery on my back. It has been a long and difficult year, but I am excited for the next step of the journey.

In early 2016, I plan on moving to Mexico and working for Not4Sale,  developing and managing another rescue home for girls from the sex trade. I'm thrilled.

Ever continuing in the journey, I am looking for living a whole hearted life, experiencing it all.....and soaking it all in.
