Come to Jesus

Half way through camp this week.....and tonight is the big night.....the night I hit'em with the prayer of salvation.
The past 7 days have been a huge reminder that we need to make that commitment....we don't know our time here on earth.
Today is the funeral of my friend's sister. Two posts ago, I wrote about my uncle dying and a woman being killed within the same hour. She was my friend's sister. Tragic. Tomorrow is my uncle's funeral...bittersweet. And last night, my friend's father in law died. He went into the hospital because of an infection.
As far as I know, all of these people had one thing in common. Jesus. And, that is the best thing to common.
Tonight I will stand in front of 120, 8-11 year olds, and ask them if they have decided to trust in God, and if not, I will ask them to do so.
And so, today I ask for pray, for Dale's family, as they bury their sister, for Candace's family, as they plan, for my family as they mourn and celebrate on of God's workers, and for 120 kids who may be welcomed into the family of God tonight.
